Landmark Dressage Training

"Don't make them perform, make them want to perform."

Recognizing the horse's strong and weak points, finding out how the horse prefers to work, and what makes them the happiest is crucial to a successful training program. This involves getting your equine athlete comfortable in their training and, equally important, their mind and body.

Brad's experience in adapting training methods while holding principles constant has enabled him to achieve success with a wide variety of horses and riders. His skill in uncovering the basis of problems and treating horses as individuals enables him to formulate training strategies for his students that keep them progressing between clinics and lessons. Sound theories, realistic application, and a true love for the art of dressage make him a popular trainer, instructor, and clinician throughout the Midwest.

Brad utilizes his in-hand training and extensive riding experience to optimally enhance your horse's muscular development, technical skills and balance.

“My training goal is to emphasize strong basics, to improve gaits, and create a willing horse - while developing a core partnership between each horse and rider. Another priority is recognizing the rider's desires and goals, and understanding their horse's abilities and needs.” -Brad Cutshall

Cultivate a Game Plan

Teaching clinics - traveling to barns, and working with other trainers and their students, as well as engaging the people auditing, is something he finds very rewarding. There are many times when an instructor looks at a horse/rider combination on a regular basis and recognizes multiple issues. “Where do you begin, what should you fix first” are questions that many instructors ask themselves.
